Gospel minstrel and entrepreneur, Piesie Esther (Deaconess) over the weekend bagged a nomination at the maiden edition of the Ghana Music Awards-France.
Organizers of Ghana Music Awards-France have ultimately released the official list of nominees for this year’s edition, which was held on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Golden Tulip in Accra.
Piesie Esther was nominated in the ‘Gospel Song of the Year’ category with her hit song ‘Madansi Die’. Her song will compete with the likes of; ‘Only You’ by Celestine Donkor, ‘Ye Obua Mi’ by Joe Mettle, ‘Ote Me Mu’ by Ohemaa Mercy, ‘Awurade Ye’ by Diana Hamilton, ‘Eye Woaa’ by Empress Gifty, ‘The Glory’ by Obaapa Christy, ‘Meduru’ by Minister O.J, ‘Yahweh’ by Akesse Brempong and ‘Mapek3’ by Scott Evans that category.
Piesie Esther shot into fame with songs like ‘Mentease’ or ‘Glory’. She has released countless singles and albums to her credit for over a decade in the music industry.
GMA-France organisers set Saturday, July 23, 2022, as the official date for the main award ceremony, and to be held in France.
This is the chance for all the fans and followers of Piesie Esther to vote massively for her to win the category of the award.
The nominee unveiling saw a host of dignitaries and big media personalities in attendance.
